Errol R. Tattrie, 68 years of age of Bayhead, NS, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Friday, October 1, 2010.  Born in Amherst he was a son of the late Laurie & Myrtle (Shea) Tattrie.

 Errol was in the gas station business for over 40 years.  He was a county councillor for 18 years.  He enjoyed snowmobiling, bowling, collecting antiques, and old cars.  Errol served as a lay reader for various churches in his community.  He was a member of the Mount Allison Alumni

 He is survived by his wife of 40 years,  the former Dianne Bezanson; his daughter, Kelly Tattrie (companion John Ross) of Tatamagouche, his son, Kendall of Tatamagouche; a brother, Carson of Truro.

 Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant sister, Eileen.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St. Amherst, NS (902-667-8777).  No visitation or funeral service by request.
