It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Linda Catherine Brine, age 62 of Northport. Linda passed away on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 at the North Cumberland Health Care Centre in Pugwash.

Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Vaughn and Catherine "Kay"(Pettigrew) Ripley.

Linda loved gathering with all her friends and family together and sharing memories as she cooks up a delicious new recipe to test out on everyone. She loved doing crafts and spending time by the beach. Linda enjoyed taking trips and making memories with friends and family that they would talk about for years afterward. She always enjoyed gardening and growing flowers so she could share with others. 

Linda will be dearly missed by Tim, her husband of 42 years and her sons Jesse (Kim) of Oxford and Jordan of Northport. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her grandson Weston, who loved her sense of play. She will be remembered by her surviving brothers, Gordon Ripley of Fenwick and Sidney Ripley (Robynn) of Coe Hill Ontario.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where a visitation will take place Wednesday, August 21st, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM followed immediately by a funeral service. Internment will take place in the Fenwick Cemetery.
