It is with great sadness that the family of Virginia Margaret Clark must announce her passing, age 76. Virginia passed away Sunday, March 31st, 2024 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre.

Born in Middleton, NS, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Gwen (Harry) Hicks.

Virginia met every challenge in her life with focus and determination and inspired loyalty and respect from all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

Virginia will be dearly missed by her husband Alfred "Knobby" "Bud"; daughters Beth Laking and Lisa Richards (Ellwood Bateman); sons Robert (Marina) Clark and Richard Clark; grandchildren Brad, Christopher Carey, Marshall Carey, Rhiannon Clark and Megan Morris; siblings, Linda Wagner, Joan (David) Chalmers and Don (Medora) Hicks; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by siblings Betty, Rod, Phyllis and Gerald.

Arrangements are in care of Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where a Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, April 5th, 2024 from 1 PM to 3 PM.

Donations in memory of Virginia may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Diabetic Association of Canada or the Arthritis Society of Canada.
