It is with profound sadness that we
announce the passing of Madge Henrietta
Gagnon, 87, at Gables Lodge, on Tuesday, March 12,
2024.
Madge was born in Amherst Head, NS, a
daughter of the late Roy and Mabel (Crossman)
Mason.
Madge had been an active member of St.
Charles and Holy Family Parish Roman Catholic Churches and devoted
over 40 years to the CWL. She hardly ever missed a luncheon at the
church. She was very crafty, often making blankets and
sweaters and was famous for her homemade donuts. She loved
going to the cottage for the summer and working on her
tan.
Madge was a kind and caring mother,
grandmother and great grandmother.
She will be sadly missed by her
daughters, Shirley Ann (Richard) Porter, of Amherst, Donna (Phillip
Fairfax) Gagnon, of Amherst and Michelle (Greg Johnson) Morse, of
Winnipeg; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; her sons-in-law,
Donald Goodwin and Michael Ferguson, as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, Madge was
predeceased by her husband, Earl; her daughters, Judy Goodwin
and Carolyn Ferguson, and her grandchildren, Michelle, Mark,
and Stephen Goodwin.
Arrangements are in care of
