It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Earl Henwood, 74, of Shediac, NB, formerly of Amherst, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.

Born in Parrsboro, NS, he was a son of the late Percy and Dearie (Forbes) Henwood.

Bob had lots of friends whom he kept in touch with constantly.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Aline (Arseneau) Henwood who has enjoyed 32 years of wonderful memories; children Chris (Wanda), Sackville, NB, Greg (Tammy), Pictou, NS; grandchildren Wynsten, Daxton and their mother Rachel LeBlanc; grandchildren Akeesha, Hanna, and Katelynn; great grandchildren Ava and Hudson; sisters Florence "Noni" Yorke, Moncton, NB and Elizabeth "Libby" (Ian) Shearer, Lindsay, ON; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are in care of Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777).  Cremation has taken place.  As per Bob's wishes, there is no gathering at this time. 

Bob's family wish to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bobadilla of Amherst and Dr. Lopaz of Halifax and all the staff at the ICU in the Halifax Infirmary, the staff at the VG 6th and 9th floor.  Thanks so much for everything you all did for Bob, we will be forever grateful.
