It is with sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Paul Franklin Howard, age 72, of Amherst, formerly of Head of Jeddore, NS.  Paul passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023.

Born in Glossop, Derbyshire, England, he was a son of the late William and Margaret (Wilson) Howard.

Paul got his degree in Horticulture, and worked in landscaping his entire life, retiring from Turf Masters Landscaping Ltd.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his many friends.  He loved his dogs, always standard Poodles, who miss him dearly already.  His yard was always kept beautiful as he was a great gardener.  Paul was a Soccer enthusiast, playing often in his younger days.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Sharon (Streatch) (Kindervater) Howard, of Amherst; her children Rhonda (Michael) Shaw, Winnipeg, Derek Kindervater, Whitehorse, Yukon, Colleen Kindervater, Amherst; grandchildren Rachael, William, Sydney, Allison, Marcus, Meagan, and Dylan; great granddaughter Hildie; brother Russell Howard, Amherst; nieces and nephews Laura, Michael, and Tye, as well as his Poodles Riley and Lucy.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church Street, Amherst (902-667-8777) where his funeral service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 2 pm, Rev. Jeff White officiating.  Memories will continue to be shared in the reception room at the funeral home following the service.
