It is with sadness we announce the passing of Paul Dean Hicks, age 51, at his residence in Halifax, formerly of Amherst, Nova Scotia. Paul passed on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. 

Born in Amherst, NS, Paul was the son of Linda Estabrooks and the late Dean Hicks.

Paul had a big personality and he was always laughing. He had a love for the Montreal Canadians, all makes and models of cars (especially fast ones) and he loved chocolate.

Besides his mother, Paul will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousin. 

He was predeceased by his father and grandparents. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777).  A graveside service will be held for Paul at a later date.

For those who wish to do so, donations in Paul's memory may be made to Canadian Mental Health.
