It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Leonard Richard Goodwin, age 80, of Amherst.  Leonard passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.

Born in Port Elgin, NB, he was a son of the late Harold and Gladys Hazel (Coulson) Goodwin.

Leonard will be dearly missed by nieces Rosella (Bill) Rogerson and Cindy (Stuart) Chase and nephew Jeffery (Heather) Goodwin; great nieces and nephews as well as his Tim Horton’s coffee crew.

Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brothers, George and Lloyd & sister in law Gloria and sister Shirley Ripley & brother in law Allison.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church Street, Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). A graveside service will take place. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 6:00pm at the Truemanville cemetery with DLM Ruth Gamble presiding.
