It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Gloria Jean Stewart, 73 , of Amherst. Gloria passed away at home on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Orland and Clissie (Dobson) Hawkes.

Gloria will be dearly missed by her son Steven as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church Street, Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). A graveside service will take place at a later date.

Donations in memory of Gloria may be made to the LA Animal Shelter.
