It is with sadness we announce the passing of John Douglas Bourgeois, age 67 of Amherst. John passed away  on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre with loving family by his side.

Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of the late Douglas and Beverly (Lowther) Bourgeois.

John loved to play the slot machines but also loved the quietness of his home he shared with his sister, Glenda.

John will be dearly missed by his sister Glenda Gottschalk (Stu Colson) and his aunt Bernice Rushton of Springhill.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Jones Family Funeral Centre, Amherst, NS, (902 667 8777). A graveside service will take place at a later date.
