It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Lorne Anson Weatherbee, 44, of Stanley. Jason passed away Friday, May 20th, 2022 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre with family by his side.

Jason was the son of the late Cecelia "Cece" Weatherbee (nee Wolfe) and Anson Weatherbee.

Jason collected model trains and was an avid four wheeler. He was a lover of the outdoors and fishing as well as going for drives. 

Jason will be dearly missed by his father Anson; brother Adam; uncles Bill (Melanie) Wolfe of Amherst and Wade (Debbie) Wolfe of Chignecto; aunt Terry Weatherbee of Ontario; great aunt Vicki (Burton) Wood of Joggins; cousins Miranda (Noah Gould) Wolfe of Nappan, Kristin (David Hirtle) Wolfe of Amherst, Turner (Lindsay) Wolfe of Wilmot, Zachary Wolfe, Jordyn Wolfe, Anderson Wolfe, Makenna Wolfe, Dean Wood, Derek Wood, Glen Weatherbee, Beth Weatherbee, Jude Weatherbee, Steven Weatherbee, Lorie Weatherbee, Ross Weatherbee, Randy Weatherbee, Lynn Weatherbee, Doris Weatherbee and Kevin Weatherbee, special cousins Gary and Pearl Slack of Folly Lake.

Besides his mother, he was predeceased by maternal grandparents Lorne "Rab" and Laura Wolfe and paternal grandparents Neil and Ella Weatherbee.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church St, Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where a visitation will take place Monday, May 23rd, 2022 followed by a service at 2pm. Burial will take place at a later date in the Westchester Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Jason may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association of Nova Scotia.
