It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Geraldine Chapman, 70, of Amherst, NS, on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.  Nancy was born in Amherst, NS, she was a daughter of the late Bob and Gloria (Goodwin) Chapman.

Nancy has worked for many years at many jobs, from waitressing to secretarial work. She worked in Ontario for many years before returning home to her beloved Nova Scotia.

She will be forever missed by her daughter, Emily Wheaton-Smith (Dave), and her granddaughter, Olivia, all of Middle Sackville, NS; sisters Kathy Chapman (Mark Hamilton), South Tremont, NS, Mary  Allen (Gary), Sackville, NB; brothers Michael Chapman (Lorraine), Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Bill Chapman (MerryAnne), Northport, NS, Robin Chapman, Amherst, NS, Stephen Chapman (Donna), Amherst, NS, and Peter Chapman (Diane) Truro, NS; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care and guidance of the Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church Street, Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held for both Nancy Chapman and her brother Robin Chapman at the Jones Family Funeral Centre on the 6th of July 2022, from 1:30 to 3:30pm, with interment to follow at the Lorneville United Church Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Nancy may be made to the VON or charity of one's choice.
