It is with sadness the family of Arthur E.T. Chapman announce his passing at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Thursday, October 14, 2021.  Born in Amherst, NS on May 27, 1931, he was a son of the late Leslie and Flora (Pfinder) Chapman.

Arthur enjoyed boating, a round of golf and a game of curling.  He was the Past District Governer, Nova Scotia Lions, 1974-1975,  He loved his summer life at the cottage and winters in Florida.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Patricia (nee Kirk), Moncton; sons, Leslie (Lydia) Tunbridge Well, UK and Kevin (Carlene), Meadow Lake, SK, as well as his grandsons, George and Brady and his great granddaughter, Isla, and nephew Ralph (Kathy) Brooks, Porters Lake, NS, and niece Susan Brooks, Sussex, NB.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Florence; his son George; his step-daughter, Joanne and his first wife, Ann.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of Garden Grove at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home for their compassion and kindness.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of the Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church Street, Amherst, NS (902-667-8777).  Honouring Arthur's wishes, cremation has taken place.  There is to be no visitation.  A private family graveside service will take place at the Amherst Cemetery at a later date.

For those who wish to do so, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
