It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Wilhena Louise "Willie" Wright, 93, at Gables Lodge, Amherst, NS, on Friday, June 25, 2021.  Born in Maccan, Willie was a daughter of the late Norman and Etta (Mills) Boss.

Willie was a member of the Trinity St. Stephen's United Church and a former member of the United Church Women.  She enjoyed crafts, sewing, skating and curling.  She was a former employee of Canada Car, Royal Bank of Canada, Rivers and Dickenson Ltd. for 26 years, and then Cumberland Honda.

She will be dearly missed by her niece, Diane Louise Smith, Truro, as well as many friends.

Willie was predeceased by her first husband Harold Watson in 1993, her second husband Harold Wright in 2015; her infant children, Becky Lee and Harold Jr.  She was also predeceased by her brothers Harold (Helen) and Whitman Boss.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church Street, Amherst (902-667-8777).  Honouring Willie's wishes, cremation has taken place.  An afternoon of remembrance will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 2 pm until the time of the service at 3 pm.  Interment will follow at the Amherst Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Wilhena may be made to the Cumberland Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
