It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Gloria Ann Goodwin, age 75, of Baie Verte, NB, on Saturday, November 7, 2020, with her family by her side, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Amherst, NS, she was a daughter of Jenny (Weeks) Embree, of Chapman Settlement, NS and the late Fred Embree.

Gloria was a Sunset 4-H Club project leader. She loved visiting family and long car rides to new destinations. She will always be remembered for her love of shopping and talking on the phone to family and friends. She enjoyed selling fruits and veggies at the family U-Pick. Above all, her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she is sadly missed by her husband Lloyd, Baie Verte, NB; children Jeff (Heather) Goodwin, Enfield, NS and Cindy (Stuart) Chase, Lr. Sackville, NS; 3 grandchildren, Emily, Steven, and Heather; brothers James (Edna), Chapman Settlement, NS, Larry (Linda), Tidnish, NS, Ralph (Sally), Chapman Settlement, NS, and Bob Trenchard, Chapman Settlement, NS.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church Street, Amherst (902-667-8777), where cremation has taken place. A Family Only Afternoon of Remembrance will be held from the Jones Family Funeral Centre on Wednesday November 11, 2020. Internment will take place in the Truemanville Cemetery at a later date.
