It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Jennie (Jackson) (Twaddle) Haynes, age 88 of Tidnish Cross Roads N.S. and Gables Lodge, Amherst, N.S. on July 5th 2016. Born in Lorneville, N.S. she was a daughter of the late George and Nellie (Felthem) Jackson.
She is survived by daughters, Carole Jackson, St. Maurice, PQ, Jane (Larry) Ogden, Gloria (Tom) King both of Tidnish Cross Roads, N.S.; son, Paul (Brenda) Haynes of Lorneville, N.S.; grandchildren, Patricia (Steven) LeBlanc, Richard (Jeanne) Ogden, Kevin (Seema) King, Marie (Chris) Gray, Adam and Danny Haynes, Karen (Eric) Twaddle, Susan, Owen David (Kellie) Twaddle and Rachel (Paul) Walsh; thirteen great grandchildren, one sister, Pearl Gallant, sister in law, Jeanette Jackson, sister in law Dorothy Haynes all of Amherst, brother in law Dennis (Doris) Haynes of Tidnish Bridge; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Maurice Twaddle, 2nd husband, Eugene Haynes, infant daughter, Rose Marie Twaddle, son, Owen Twaddle and his wife, Jeanne Twaddle, sisters, Annie, Lillian, Viola and Evelyn; brothers Alfred, Avery and Johnny; son in law, Robert King and grandson, Kent King
Margaret was a great craft lady, loved to play cards with family and friends when she was home. She loved her family dearly. She was an adherent of the Lorneville United Church, a life member of the Lorneville UCW and the Tidnish Cross Roads Community Association, a former member of the Sunrise Campers and the Amherst Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, N.S. (902-667-8777) where visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016 from noon until the time of the funeral at 2:00 p.m.Ruth Gamble DLM officiating. Reception to follow. Burial will take place in the Lorneville Cemetery.

Margaret's family would like to thank Gables Lodge and staff for the great care that mum received over the last few weeks and the past five years.
