It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of William Gordon Hall, age 69, of River Hebert, formerly of Ontario.  William passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.

Born in Toronto, he was a son of the late Gordon and Doris (Durst) Hall.

He enjoyed life to the fullest.  He loved to joke and play pranks on his family and friends.  A true gentleman, he was sincere and kind hearted.  He loved to give a hand to anyone that needed it, but most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them.  A mechanic by trade, he enjoyed tinkering, taking apart and fixing engines and worked for 28 years for Keegan's Forklift.

He will be dearly missed by his loving partner Joanne Weir, River Hebert; his children Patricia, Ontario, Billy Jo Hall (Dale Burbine), River Hebert, NS, Daryle Shier (Pam Goss), Hopewell Cape, NB; grandchildren, Rebecca and Michael Brake, Josh, Samantha, D.J., and Dillan Shier, Tia Taylor, Elizabeth and Breanna Hall; siblings Cathy Hall, Montreal, PQ, Gary (Gail) Hall, Ontario, Jimmy Hall, Ontario, Chris Hall (Clarence), Toronto, and Mary Ann Hall (Chris), Ontario, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Gordon Hall.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where family and friends may visit with the family on Sunday, from 6 to 8 pm.  William's Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 2 pm.

William's family wishes to extend great thanks to all the neighbours who have been so kind over the past few years and to cousin Alvenia for all her help and support.

Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice.

Sharing of memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting William's online memorial at www.jonesfamilyfuneralcentre.ca or through the Jones Family Funeral Centre Facebook Page.
